Emergency Medicine Physician

Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality care in a single-physician coverage setting supported by one midlevel provider. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in independent environments and enjoy seasonal volume variation, especially during the winter months in the resort town of Ruidoso.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care in a rural, high-autonomy ED setting
• Manage a broad spectrum of urgent and emergent conditions
• Work alongside one midlevel provider per shift
• Adapt to seasonal increases in patient volume, especially winter (Thanksgiving–February)
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate care as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree (MD or DO)
• Valid Medical License in New Mexico (NM)
• Board Certified (Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine with ED experience)
• 2+ years of Any:

• Internal Medicine

• Emergency Department (ED)

• Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
