Job Description
$15K Sign-On Bonus - with a 2-year commitment
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services department, you'll assume primary responsibility for the total care of assigned clients. This includes assessment, reassessment, establishment of nursing diagnoses, formulation of the written plan of care, implementation of care, and evaluation of care. Additionally, you'll provide health care training and education to clients and their families as required, supporting the goals of our Award Winning Client and the Department of Nursing. You'll demonstrate awareness of ongoing unit needs and provide leadership and direction to other team members to maintain optimal standards of nursing care. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, including the ability to work all shift patterns, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriate nursing coverage.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Associate's degree required
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Licenses: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
Additional Requirements:
- BLS/CPR required within 30 days of hire date
- ACLS required within 6 months of employment
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
