Our Award-Winning Client, a global leader in engineered product manufacturing, is seeking a Process Engineer III to join their team at either their Winchester, KY or Orlando, FL facility. This role will focus on driving process optimization, managing capital projects, and improving overall operational efficiency in a high-volume plastics manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce scrap.

  • Provide technical guidance for manufacturing control strategies.

  • Develop and manage capital authorization requests and capital project execution.

  • Utilize Six Sigma, TQM, and other methodologies to identify and implement process enhancements.

  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support day-to-day operations.

  • Conduct audits, analyze performance, and develop action plans based on findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plastics, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).

  • Must have a strong background in plastics manufacturing and injection molding.

  • Proven experience managing capital projects from concept through completion.

  • Strong communication, technical problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with process troubleshooting and quality improvements.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and process control systems.
