Join our Award-Winning Client, a premier leader in advanced manufacturing, delivering cutting-edge automation solutions in the Rigid Paper and Closures sector. They are seeking a proactive and self-driven Engineer IV to lead process improvements, capital projects, and automation innovations across a multi-site operation, with Jackson, TN serving as a key location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, cost estimates, and capital justifications for plant-wide initiatives.

  • Lead end-to-end execution of capital and general technical projects including design, commissioning, installation, FAT/PAT, and performance qualification.

  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize high-speed, high-volume manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce cost.

  • Provide engineering support on advanced systems including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, robotic automation, vision systems, and AGVs.

  • Design and document mechanical and electrical system layouts using AutoCAD.

  • Implement automation and integration strategies to drive consistency and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including plant personnel, vendors, and engineering leadership to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

  • Monitor and manage project budgets using internal purchasing systems and procurement tools.

Desired Technical Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a robotics, automation, or AGV-focused manufacturing environment.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Rockwell PLCs, HMI programming, servo motors, AC/DC drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated control systems.

  • Familiarity with machine integration, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical support in high-speed production environments.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical and mechanical schematics.

  • Knowledge of data acquisition systems, network integration, and industrial safety compliance is a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Proven project management experience with both large-scale and rapid deployment capital projects.

  • Demonstrates independent problem-solving, creative thinking, and strong communication skills.

  • Comfortable working autonomously or collaboratively, depending on project scope.

Compensation & Advancement:

  • Engineer IV: Base salary from $116,160 to $130,680 with an annual target bonus of 7.5% of base pay.

  • Engineer V (senior track): Base salary from $131,920 to $148,410 with an annual target bonus of 12.5% of base pay.

  • Compensation aligned with candidate experience, project scope, and business need.
