Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent construction experience (minimum of 4 years).
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings (safety-sensitive role).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with fellow employee-owners.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in executing daily tasks related to the project.
  • Implement safety protocols as outlined in the Company and Project Safety Plans.
  • Supervise Field Engineers and support field teams with safety, technical, and operational requirements.
  • Track and report project production metrics and ensure accurate material procurement.
  • Coordinate and verify deliveries and materials for adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, monitor quality control, and manage project documentation.
  • Estimate and track material quantities, support change orders, and assist with pay applications.
  • Secure necessary permits, handle utility locations, and review project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project submittals, schedules, and forecasting reports.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Heavy Civil or Industrial Construction is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret complex project documents, including specifications and special provisions.
  • Familiarity with the Heavy Job project management system is a plus.
