Mobile X-Ray Technologist

Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other care environments. This position involves using portable digital radiography (DR) equipment, conducting EKGs, and maintaining strong communication with healthcare providers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

X-Ray Imaging & EKGs:

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Submit/transmit X-rays to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for review.

On-Site Work:

• Unload and set up portable X-ray equipment at the facility to perform physician-ordered exams.

Administrative Duties:

• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, per protocol.

Professional Communication:

• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients to ensure quality service delivery.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain the company-provided vehicle and portable X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Required

Certification:

• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in the state of California (CA).
• Current and valid Regular Driver’s License (DL).
• COVID-19 Vaccination:

Preferred

Experience:

1+ years of experience in:

• Meditech RAD (Radiology).
• Mammography.
• General Radiology.

1+ years in:

• Echocardiogram (echo).
• Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG).
• Echocardiography.
