Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities:

• Provide education, counseling, and Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients, residents, and clients both individually and in group settings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutrition care.
• Serve as a resource for patients, healthcare providers, and the community on nutrition-related topics.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and participate in research projects as needed.
• Deliver educational programs to patients, healthcare providers, and the community on nutrition-related topics.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field required

Certification and Licensure:

• BLS Certification
• Commission on Dietetic Registration Registered Dietitian
• Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist, Pennsylvania
• Eligible for PA Licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Dietitian-Nutritionist Licensure required within 120 days of employment
• Certified Personal Trainer through NASM if applicable

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• General clerical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Multi-line telephone operational skills
