Our Award Winning Client, an industry-leading structural engineering firm known for its national operations and multiple prestigious awards, is expanding its footprint in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. They are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to contribute to a variety of dynamic projects within their growing team.

Overview:

  • Lead multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Collaborate closely with drafting teams on comprehensive structural designs, focusing on steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual structural designs through to construction documentation and administration.
  • Ensure designs maintain the company’s rigorous standards for accuracy and excellence.
  • Participate in evaluating and renovating existing buildings as needed.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship [Required]
  • EIT certification preferred, with a minimum of two years of industry experience.
  • Strong background in structural engineering and project management, with a track record of successfully managing design and construction projects.
  • Extensive experience in the design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry buildings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the evaluation and renovation of existing building structures.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Passionate about structural engineering with a commitment to delivering innovative solutions.
