Our Award Winning Client, a nationally acclaimed leader in infrastructure engineering, is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of high-voltage transmission projects spanning the United States. This hybrid opportunity offers flexibility to work from any U.S. office, with an expectation of onsite presence three days per week.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in the design and analysis of transmission structures, collaborating across disciplines to drive complex utility-scale projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Performing detailed structural evaluations and design of transmission line structures and foundations based on applicable engineering standards.

  • Leading or supporting project teams to ensure technical quality, schedule alignment, and budget adherence.

  • Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to deliver robust engineering solutions.

  • Maintaining close coordination with internal design, construction, and operations teams across disciplines.

  • Supporting client interactions and, when needed, participating in business development or proposal efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Proficiency with PLS-CADD is required

  • At least 5 years of structural engineering experience

  • Strong command of steel and concrete design methodologies, including experience using 3D structural modeling tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in transmission structure design, especially for steel configurations and foundation systems

  • Familiarity with large-scale utility or electrical transmission projects

  • Background in mentoring engineers or guiding technical teams on complex design work
