Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Home Health position in Irvington, NJ. Paid relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher
• Our award winning client seeks RNs with any of the following experiences: acute care, med surg, home health, palliative, critical care, ED, inpatient, burn/wound care, or oncology.

Required:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Seeking a full-time position

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• RN License Number
• Specialized certifications

Overview: Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a full-time RN for Home Health services in Irvington, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration, and maintain patient safety. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. This position will service the following coverage areas: Irvington, NJ, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to various age and diagnostic groups
• Utilize principles of the nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care
• Implement prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care
• Utilize effective interviewing techniques; sets limits, and collects data based on specific role
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients, and families
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients
• Observe patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or Physician
• Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Home Care Home Base
• Equipment Provided: Tablet, Phone

Schedule and Shift Details:

• 8:30a-4:30p, 1-2 Saturdays a month
• Including working one summer and one winter holiday

Internal Notes: IMPORTANT! (Unionized Position) This position is a part of a Union! It's an hourly position, paid per years of experience. Additional hourly rate increases for education and certifications. There are union dues; however, that will be discussed with a union rep. Mileage Reimbursement: Current IRS rate. Sign-on bonus potentially offered. The RN will be servicing the following coverage area: Irvington, NJ, and surrounding areas.
