CT Technologist – Vernal, UT

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join their imaging team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality radiologic and computed tomography procedures with precision and expertise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent decision-making, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging & Patient Care

  • Conduct computed tomography (CT) scans and radiologic procedures to obtain detailed anatomical images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Prepare patient rooms, ensure proper functionality of equipment, and manage necessary contrast media for procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care by considering age-specific needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safety and quality while following all industry protocols and best practices.

Technical Expertise & Independent Workflow

  • Operate with minimal supervision, utilizing sound judgment, technical skills, and critical thinking to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Efficiently execute all CT procedures while ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to imaging equipment and provide prompt resolutions.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth coordination of imaging services.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with all medical standards and regulations.
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols and contribute to a collaborative and professional work environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Utah Radiologic Technologist License (Must be active)
  • ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Certification & Registration
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Must be obtained within six months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Diagnostic Technologist and/or CT Technologist
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and patient positioning strategies
