This role requires a highly skilled engineer to develop advanced signal processing solutions and collaborate within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams. The position offers relocation assistance to ease your transition to San Jose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and model cutting-edge signal processing algorithms tailored for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Implement DSP algorithms using GPUs and ensure efficient performance through rigorous evaluation.
  • Utilize software development tools, such as integrated development environments (IDE), version control systems, and defect reporting tools, to streamline processes.
  • Develop robust testing criteria and validate designs to meet stringent requirements.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and customers to ensure seamless integration of DSP solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to deliver innovative results under challenging conditions.
  • Work effectively in Unix/Linux operating systems, leveraging expertise in C/C++ programming.
  • Drive continuous self-improvement and technical leadership within the team.
  • Excel in algorithm development using MATLAB or Python.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of job-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a master’s degree.
  • Expertise in digital signal processing, including communication theory and wireless communications.
  • Strong foundation in signal processing algorithm implementation for integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Proficiency in tools like MATLAB or Python for algorithm development.
  • Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with GPUs, version control systems, and IDEs.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Proven experience leading Agile-based programs or projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum tools and techniques.
