Oncology Registered Nurse (Chemo/Infusion RN)

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Oncology
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Surgical Oncology
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) certification
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire (NH)
  • Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• ANY of the following valid certifications:
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)

Overview

Our client is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (Chemo/Infusion RN) to provide professional nursing care in an outpatient oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in infusion and chemotherapy administration, as well as strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with standards of practice
• Assist with daily operations of the oncology clinic, including patient care and education
• Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
