Responsibility Summary: Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager, our Award Winning Client prepares general ledger reconciliations, completes internal and external reporting, prepares and participates in outside audits, and trains/mentors staff.

Experience:

• Minimum: 3 years of computerized accounting experience
• Preferred:
  • Experience using spreadsheet applications for complex analytical review
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education:

• Minimum: BS in Accounting

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepares assigned general ledger account reconciliations following departmental policies and procedures. Makes recommendations for tightening internal controls.
• Prepares for and participates in all internal and external audits as assigned.
• Performs analytical reviews and prepares financial and statistical statements as assigned.
• Completes all assigned internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements within designated timeframes and regulatory guidelines.
• Assumes a lead role in the finance team, ensuring high-quality standards for policy and procedure compliance. Supports management by defining issues and preparing initial recommendations for review and discussion.

Skills and Certifications:

• 3 years minimum of computerized accounting experience
