Technical Lead – eCommerce Licensing & Monetization

Up to $190K | Wilmington, DE or Colorado Springs, CO | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)

She Recruits is working with a global leader in life sciences and technology to identify a Technical Lead – eCommerce Licensing & Monetization. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovative licensing and entitlement solutions that fuel SaaS, subscription, and on-premise product strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable licensing and entitlement solutions for SaaS, subscription, and on-prem products.

  • Act as the technical authority for license monetization systems—ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standards.

  • Lead integrations across ERP and customer-facing eCommerce portals.

  • Translate business needs into technical architecture and design strategies.

  • Partner with software product teams, enterprise architects, and IT stakeholders to align licensing initiatives with business objectives.

  • Mentor developers, champion best practices, and promote technical excellence.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).

  • 3+ years of backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js); Angular experience a plus.

  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (API Gateway, IAM, S3, caching).

  • 2+ years in a Technical Lead role guiding mid-to-large development teams.

  • Proven expertise in software licensing models, entitlement systems, and eCommerce integration.

  • Agile/Scrum experience with the ability to drive projects forward.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for scalable, optimized, and user-centric solutions.

  • Angular development exposure

  • ERP integration experience

  • Enterprise system knowledge

  • Location: Wilmington, DE (no relocation) or Colorado Springs, CO

  • Hybrid schedule: Tue–Thu onsite, Mon & Fri remote
