Technical Lead – eCommerce Licensing & Monetization
Up to $190K | Wilmington, DE or Colorado Springs, CO | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
She Recruits is working with a global leader in life sciences and technology to identify a Technical Lead – eCommerce Licensing & Monetization. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovative licensing and entitlement solutions that fuel SaaS, subscription, and on-premise product strategies.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement scalable licensing and entitlement solutions for SaaS, subscription, and on-prem products.

Act as the technical authority for license monetization systems—ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standards.

Lead integrations across ERP and customer-facing eCommerce portals.

Translate business needs into technical architecture and design strategies.

Partner with software product teams, enterprise architects, and IT stakeholders to align licensing initiatives with business objectives.

Mentor developers, champion best practices, and promote technical excellence.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
-
8+ years of strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
-
3+ years of backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js); Angular experience a plus.
-
3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (API Gateway, IAM, S3, caching).
-
2+ years in a Technical Lead role guiding mid-to-large development teams.

Proven expertise in software licensing models, entitlement systems, and eCommerce integration.

Agile/Scrum experience with the ability to drive projects forward.

Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation, and communication skills.

Self-starter mindset with a passion for scalable, optimized, and user-centric solutions.
