\n\nThe Project Manager – Structures Division is responsible for the overall administrative and technical leadership of assigned heavy civil projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This position oversees engineering, construction coordination, and cost management for structural projects such as bridges, retaining walls, foundations, pump stations, and reinforced concrete structures.
\nExperience with estimating is highly preferred but not required.
\n\nPlan, organize, and manage the field team in collaboration with the Division Manager and Estimator.
\nEstablish project objectives and ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.
\nImplement company policies, including EEO and Affirmative Action responsibilities.
\nServe as the primary liaison with owners, agencies, and key stakeholders.
\nAttend weekly owner and coordination meetings and ensure follow-through on all action items.
\nDirect on-site Superintendents to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance.
\nManage all contract documentation, including job cost reports, change orders, billings, and collections.
\nForecast budgets and update financials accurately throughout the project life cycle.
\nPrepare, review, and revise project work plans to adapt to changing needs.
\nOversee subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and performance management.
\nMaintain and track baseline schedules; ensure adherence to project milestones and critical path.
\nIdentify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain control of project scope and change management.
\nProvide leadership and mentorship to field and administrative teams.
\nUphold company standards for safety, quality, and compliance on all projects.
\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
\n4–7 years of proven experience managing structural or heavy civil construction projects.
\nExperience with bridges, retaining walls, pump stations, and reinforced concrete structures required.
\nStrong understanding of project forecasting, scheduling, and financial controls.
\nKnowledge of public contract codes, critical path scheduling, and change management processes.
\nValid Driver’s License required.
