\n\nThe Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Highway Construction will oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring that goals are met on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will manage field operations, project teams, and client relationships while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety, cost control, and team leadership.
\n\nInstill Safety as the highest priority across all phases of the project.
\nManage and mentor a team of Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
\nTrack and report project progress, budgets, and resource needs in coordination with Operations Managers.
\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
\nIdentify, document, and obtain approvals for changes in project scope, budget, and schedule.
\nOversee monthly billings, cash flow projections, and change order processing.
\nReview and update project schedules in coordination with site management.
\nCoordinate equipment and staffing requirements with regional and project teams.
\nMaintain full knowledge of plans, specifications, and project documentation.
\nRepresent the company at client meetings, site walks, and progress reviews.
\nEnsure consistent communication, proactive problem-solving, and alignment with company policies.
\nPerform other related duties as assigned.
\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
\nProven experience managing infrastructure projects involving earthwork, paving, grading, underground utilities, or structures.
\nStrong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\nKeen attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
\nDemonstrated ability to foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
\nMust possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
