Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Safety and Repair Coordinator in St. John’s, NL.

Responsibilities

  • Cross Asset coordinator of platform repairs and safety system maintenance work, coordinating Vendors as required, interfacing with offshore execution team and onshore Maintenance Advisors, SSHE & Regulatory Teams and FIMS owners to ensure equipment repairs are carried out in a timely manner and all Safety systems on the platforms are adequately maintained.
  • Engage across assets to coordinate Safety System vendors to complete Annual PM and Corrective work
  • Update and enhance Safety related PMs as needed to optimize efficiency and platform reliability
  • Work with Safety Systems FIMS owner to ensure program health is maintained and priorities are addressed
  • Interface with onshore and offshore organization to coordinate onshore repairs, requisitions for equipment requiring repair/recertification.  Point of Contact/Liason with vendors and warehouse. 
  • Manage material repairs to ensure availability of equipment when required and timely action (ie. Repair, return to stock, disposal, material assessments).
  • Liaise with vendors and warehouse as to the required movement of materials to vendor site for repair/recertification.
  • Review documentation and prepare recommendation of course of action for final approval by the Technical Advisors. After Technical approval/review, create and/or revise SAP documentation and follow up with procurement to ensure contract documentation is issued.
  • Responsible to track and monitor equipment that is at vendor to ensure proper return and disposation is adhered to.  If required, initate return to stock or disposal process.
  • Ensure items out for repair are prioritized based on criticality and priority for platform operations
