POSITION:     Customer Service Specialist

LOCATION:   Statesville, NC

Manufacturer of Business-to-Business Plastics for multiple industries is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to work with and help manage the customer life cycle.

The individual will be involved with the customer experience throughout all aspects of the customer life cycle including sales orders, purchase orders, fulfillment, invoicing and account inquiry/management.

The ideal individual will have a college experience and worked in manufacturing, with customer interfacing experience.

Responsibilities

·        Involved with the company’s Inventory Management processes

·        Work with Imported Finished Goods  

·        Customer Service experience (Sales Orders, Manage Shipments, etc.)

·        Partner with the Logistics team to ensure shipments are completed

·        Serve as an additional point of contact for all customers

·        Communicate with customers throughout the customer lifecycle

·        Understand and explain to management: sales order, status checks, logistics/shipping, order fulfillment, invoicing, and past due accounts.

·        Complete all requested assignments as requested with limited direction or supervision.

·        Submit weekly reports as requested.

·        Greet and assist visitors, customers, and applicants.

·        Negotiate contracts with merchandising and breakroom vendors

·        Negotiate contracts with facility maintenance.

·        Coordinate, Plan, and execute company sponsored/catered events.

·        Keep signage updated throughout all locations

·        Work with and learn specific Computer Programs

Requirements

·        Appropriate business degree or equivalent experience

·        Any plastic and/or packaging industry experience a PLUS

·        Have demonstrated ability to interact with customers in previous roles

·        Track, record of achieve goals

·        Capable of creating a culture of success and goal achievement 

·        Knowledge of financial tracking, forecasting and reporting
