Responsibilities: 
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions using QuickBooks.
  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate and send invoices to clients, follow up on overdue payments, and reconcile payments received.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with QuickBooks records to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, including calculating hours, deductions, and taxes using QuickBooks Payroll.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing, monitoring, and updating budgets in coordination with management.
  • Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and organize financial records for tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Software Maintenance: Maintain and update QuickBooks software, ensuring it is operating efficiently and all necessary updates are installed.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to other staff members on QuickBooks usage and best practices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records promptly.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned by management 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience 
  • Experience with QuickBooks and proficiency with Excel 
  • Excellent communication skills
