About the Opportunity

Our client, is a highly respected and growing firm is seeking to add a Financial Reporting Lead to its accounting and finance team. This is a hybrid role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and review for all fixed asset activity handled by the Senior Accountant, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation.
• Develop, update, and validate consolidated  schedules and capital expenditure summaries used by leadership and external auditors.

• Handle financial reporting and compliance requirements for several joint venture entities, applying GAAP and internal standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver partner-ready reports that are timely, complete, and accurate.

• Lead accounting processes for the organization’s self-insured captive, preparing liability and workers’ compensation schedules.
• Coordinate with actuarial, risk management, and other groups to assess reserves, validate assumptions, and ensure reliability of reported figures.
• Compile supporting documents for quarterly and annual SEC filings and maintain disclosure checklists in accordance with GAAP requirements.

• Conduct technical research on accounting topics and produce ad hoc reporting when requested.
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Promote communication, collaboration, and a culture of trust within the team.
• Demonstrate consistent, dependable attendance and alignment with organizational priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and strong proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite.
• Sound judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $85,000 – $110,000
• Bonus Eligibility
