Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Insurance Recovery Practice Group in Chicago. This is an outstanding opportunity to advocate exclusively for policyholders in high-stakes insurance recovery matters across a wide range of industries and forums.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Illinois, in good standing.
3–5 years of substantive experience in complex litigation and/or arbitration in a mid-large sized law firm setting.
Experience with insurance recovery on behalf of policyholders is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in working with federal and state court rules, motion practice, E-Discovery, and serving as the point person on active litigation/arbitration matters.
Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
Comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Demonstrated commitment to client service, professional growth, and cultivating a team-oriented practice.
Represent policyholders in all phases of the insurance recovery process, including claim evaluation, presentation, and litigation/arbitration.
Analyze insurance policies and facts to assess coverage across a broad spectrum of claims.
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery responses, and briefs in domestic and international legal forums.
Participate in negotiations, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials/arbitrations.
Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups to support strategic and coordinated client representation.
Maintain direct communication with clients and contribute to the development of case strategies.

Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $235,000-$365,000, commensurate with experience.
