Job Overview:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Assess students' skills and learning requirements.
• Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of students.
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
• Employ a variety of teaching techniques and methods to meet students' needs and capabilities.
• Monitor students’ progress and use data to adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
• Strong understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of special education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to work with students with special needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive tools for special education.
