We’re looking for a driven Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to join our team and help optimize operations through data-driven problem-solving and Lean manufacturing practices. In this role, you’ll be a key player in enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality across our business processes.
\nIdentify Opportunities: Analyze business and manufacturing processes to uncover inefficiencies and improvement areas using Lean and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
\nLead Problem Solving: Apply and coach disciplined problem-solving approaches, including 8D and 5 Whys, to drive root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
\nTrain & Coach: Deliver training and mentorship to team members on problem-solving tools and Lean principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
\nMonitor & Measure: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate improvement efforts and pinpoint further optimization opportunities.
\nDrive Projects: Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely results.
\nDocument Processes: Maintain clear, accurate documentation of processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support ongoing improvement efforts.
\nAnalyze Data: Collect and interpret data to guide decision-making and process optimization efforts.
\nConduct Kaizen Events: Plan and facilitate Kaizen events focused on operational excellence and closing performance gaps.
\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
\n3+ years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment with strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
\nProven ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
\nStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
\nProficiency with data analysis tools and statistical process control techniques.
\nExperience leading process improvement projects and mentoring others in Lean methodologies.
