Overview:
It's difficult to write a traditional job description for a role like this because this company doesn't make anything - rather, they provide technical expertise and advisory services to their clients. Clients come to them with all sorts of requests, all related to carbon capture utilization and storage. It could be working with a bank to evaluate a technology for a company that is looking for a loan. It could be working with a manufacturer that wants to utilize carbon capture methods in their process. It could be working with a company to help them develop risk assessments. It could be working with a startup to validate a process technology idea. This company's clients are wide ranging and their scope is worldwide, but all of the projects in this group center around carbon capture technology and utilization (for the most part), not as much in captured carbon storage.
This role would ideally be based out of Seattle or Houston, but could be based out of any office this company has, which includes most major cities. They work a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office each week, two days out. Travel is not extensive, perhaps 10-20%, depending on what is going on.
