A leading manufacturer of high-precision injection molded parts is seeking a Process Engineer to support ongoing production and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing molding processes, ensuring product quality, and driving efficiency across the production floor.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining processes for injection molding operations. This includes setting process parameters, troubleshooting molding issues, validating new tools and materials, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

Establish and optimize injection molding process parameters for new and existing products.
Conduct molding trials, capability studies, and validations.
Troubleshoot molding issues related to tooling, materials, machines, and processes.
Collaborate with tooling, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches.
Document processes, maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support training.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical input on tooling design, material selection, and process development.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in injection molding process engineering.
Strong knowledge of scientific molding principles and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, and robotics.
Proficiency with SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis methods.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
RJG Master Molder certification or equivalent.
Experience with automation and robotics integration.
Background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
Fast-paced injection molding production facility with a mix of office and hands-on floor activity. Requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 lbs. Exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations; PPE required in designated areas.
