About the Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity is in the Delaware Water GAP where employees live in NJ or PA at a food additives plant. They are seeking a junior engineer with experience leading a team who is seeking to transition into a leadership role or someone who has direct supervision. This position is salaried and on days. 75% of the job will be managing four small teams of production operators in which you will organize team meetings, hand out and follow up on work assignments, coordinate production runs with shipping, receiving, and planning, and developing training programs. 25% of the job is troubleshooting production problems, and optimizing plant processes. This site has 200+ people with DCS and PLC controls and a staff of Controls Engineers, Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Production Engineering Managers. Growth could be into any group on site, other US sites, or overseas sites. This position is bonus eligible and offers relocation assistance. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineer
• 1-5 year with hands-on experience out of foods, packaging, chemicals, molding or any mechanical assembly process.
• Candidate needs to have lead people on a project or have direct supervision of others
