Data Engineer Operations needed to work with other data engineers to design and maintain the Microsoft PowerBI (PBI) environment and infrastructure. The Data Engineer Operations works with business units and the data engineering solutions architect to ensure timely delivery of data needed for analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data pipelines, leveraging new technologies, designing and developing quality scalable data for advanced analytics, and confirming that all data verification processes are providing accurate and appropriate data for analysis.

The Data Engineer Operations has the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment from home and in the office in Trumbull, CT. The position requires 3 weeks of travel annually to other office locations, as well as manufacturing and distribution centers.

1. Requirements:
2. Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, engineering, or other science disciplines.
3. 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional role can be substituted for a degree.
4. 3+ year of hands-on experience in data modeling or engineering
5. 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or reporting
6. Highly motivated and capable of working collaboratively with business intelligence, business analysts, IT leaders, and third-party stakeholders.
7. Expert-level knowledge with SQL, MS Power BI, MS Synapse, and leading data analytic tools.
8. Expertise building Power BI data pipelines to support enterprise level data sharing.
9. Working knowledge of MS D365 CRM, MS Navision, and MS Azure Fabric.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in software development and solution architecture
• Experience in life sciences and manufacturing industries
