Job Description

  • Independently manage litigation matters across all stages: case evaluation, intake, discovery, negotiation, trial, and appeal
  • Represent clients in district and county courts as well as administrative hearings
  • Handle insurance defense litigation, fiduciary and contract disputes, FHAA complaints, covenant enforcement, and real estate litigation
  • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and legal briefs
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and strategic advice
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
  • Participate in business development and firm networking initiatives

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado
  • 7+ years of district court litigation or insurance defense experience
  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and case management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case/document management software
  • Knowledge of PracticeMaster and NetDocuments a plus
  • Portable book of business is a bonus but not required
