Opportunity Overview:A well-established cardiothoracic surgery practice in Ocala, Florida is seeking an experienced surgeon to join its growing service line. Qualified Candidates Will Benefit From:✔ Join an experienced team, including another cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 advanced practice providers skilled in endo vein harvesting✔ Robust clinical environment with CVICU, two heart surgery rooms, dedicated hybrid OR, EP and Cath services, and strong perfusion support✔ Three dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists✔ Surgical scope includes coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement, broad-based thoracic procedures, and advanced programs like: • TAVR • Minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery • Aortic surgery • ECMO✔ Ideal candidate will have: • Experience in aortic disease, valve repair/replacement (open and endovascular) • Proficiency with TAVR and minimally invasive lung surgery • Familiarity with advanced technology to reduce surgical invasiveness✔ Strong collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, RNs, and critical care staff✔ Prior cardiothoracic surgery experience required
