RESTRUCTURING & INSOLVENCY ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY / MID-LEVEL

Location: Dallas, TX

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group in Dallas. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated restructuring attorney to work on sophisticated corporate and commercial insolvency matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.

  • 3–5 years of substantive experience in restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy-related matters.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Chapter 11 proceedings, corporate restructurings, loan workouts, and bankruptcy litigation.

  • Familiarity with lender remedies in both state and federal courts and experience drafting loan and security documents for distressed transactions.

  • Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively to a team-oriented practice.

  • Soft Skills: Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent creditors, debtors, lenders, and other stakeholders in corporate restructurings, Chapter 11 cases, and related litigation.

  • Draft and negotiate loan documents, restructuring agreements, forbearance arrangements, and other documentation relevant to distressed transactions.

  • Handle litigation related to insolvency proceedings, including motion practice and court appearances in state and federal courts.

  • Advise clients on insolvency risks, strategy, and structuring of transactions involving financially distressed entities.

  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, co-counsel, and other advisors on case strategy and execution.

  • Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to deliver high-quality legal solutions across complex and time-sensitive matters.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $260,000-$365,000, commensurate with experience.
