Our Award Winning Client is currently seeking a skilled and certified individual for a full-time, onsite position with paid relocation. Join our nationally recognized client, an industry leader with numerous awards, as a Cardiac Sonographer.

Must-Haves:

  1. Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  2. One (1) of the following:
    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or
    • Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  3. Pediatric echo experience (a minimum of 6 months of pediatric experience).

Nice-To-Haves:

  1. Hospital experience strongly preferred.

Job Description: Our client, a renowned healthcare provider, is searching for a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join their team. As a valued member, you will collaborate with esteemed medical professionals, providing round-the-clock coverage to ensure the best care for patients with intensive needs.

In this role, you'll employ state-of-the-art techniques and services at the Children’s Heart Institute, striving to offer patients with complex problems the best chance for a normal life. Our client operates as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, consistently earning accolades for patient care and outcomes in congenital heart surgery.

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will conduct echocardiogram tests, ensuring technical quality, entering and monitoring patient data, and actively participating in performance improvement activities. The role involves not only scanning in-house patients but also extending services to outpatient clinics, CVOR, and Pedi Cath Labs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology (preferred).
  • License/Certification:
    • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
    • One (1) of the following:
      • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or
      • Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or
      • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process.
  • Performs echocardiogram tests on patients, ensures technical quality, and enters/monitors patient data.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and takes emergency call within the department.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performs echocardiogram tests on patients.

  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
