W2 pay is $28 per hour

Full-time contractor position

Must have actual trade show experience in the healthcare industry in order to be considered.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Works closely day-to-day with Head of Events
  • Contribute to the coordination of all aspects of tradeshows, conferences, meetings, and other events (pre-planning, and post-event wrap-up), as assigned
  • Ability to travel internationally to support onsite execution of tradeshows, customer events, etc., as needed throughout the year
  • Assume planning responsibilities for meetings as needed in support of Head of Events
  • Serve as direct liaison for identified events to triage and support resolutions
  • Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·       Proficiency with event software, including Smartsheet, Salesforce, Zuant is preferred  

Support Head of Events in adhoc tasks as needed including:

·       Scheduling and/or facilitating meetings on behalf of Head of Events

·       Monitoring of multiple lists and processes simultaneously

·       Onsite tradeshow and event logistics management

·       Updating resource material for distribution across enterprise

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing tradeshows and other events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting large international tradeshows and meetings, including regional events across the country.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high-level attention to detail and ability to carry out multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, follow up on multiple projects and problem solve accordingly
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and sense of urgency with a demonstrated leadership ability
  • Experience supporting events in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Be able to travel 15%, both domestic and international, and work overtime as needed to attend events and meetings (may include weekends)
