POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a client company based in the St. Lucie County Florida area. This role oversees all major functions — operations, production, quality, sales support, and people leadership — ensuring the facility delivers strong performance across safety, efficiency, culture, and financial results.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, roll up your sleeves and get dirty, operationally minded leader with a track record of building high‑performing teams, improving processes, and driving measurable outcomes. This individual will partner with senior leadership to execute strategic priorities, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The facility is an indoor/outdoor environment rather than a controlled manufacturing setting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead day‑to‑day plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Drive operational improvements using Lean, 5S, and data‑driven decision‑making
• Develop and mentor team members to support performance, engagement, and retention
• Manage financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability
• Strengthen cross‑functional alignment and ensure clear communication of goals and expectations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or related environments
• Proven success leading teams in fast‑paced, multi‑project operations
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L‑related responsibilities
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to engage employees at all levels
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team‑building skills
