Requirements: Needing a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Service Manager to play a key role in supporting our Service Manager. Must ensure smooth operation too, accurate job execution, and excellent customer service. Respond to incoming service-related calls, prepare quotes, service projects, emergency calls, scheduled service calls, and repairs. Dispatch technicians, maintain inventory, and stock levels. Stage and organize parts, process shipping and receiving of parts, samples, and equipment. Will update customer portals, internal system “job detail”, parts ETA, and status update. Must have working knowledge with Servman Software.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare quotations for service projects, including emergency calls, scheduled service calls, and repairs; follow up weekly.
- Order parts and ensure availability for technicians’ service jobs.
- Assist with scheduling service calls and dispatching technicians.
- Source and order parts; maintain inventory control and stock levels.
- Stage and organize parts for upcoming technician jobs.
- Process shipping and receiving of parts, samples, and equipment.
- Update customer portals and internal systems with job details, parts ETA, and status updates.
- Create and manage quotes in Servman software, ensuring customer information is accurate and up to date.
- Support technicians with service/repair-related issues and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to help lead, motivate, and support a core team of service technicians and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education preferred.

Highly computer literate with proficiency in service software, parts lookup, and productivity tools.
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical components related to generators, ATS, and diesel engines is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, quick learner and self-starter.
- Proficient in software systems and typing.
- Physically able to lift to 30 lbs.
