Job Description

  • Handle serious and catastrophic personal injury cases from initial filing through verdict
  • Screen potential litigation clients and interview clients and witnesses
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and prepare for mediations
  • Negotiate with insurance companies to maximize client outcomes
  • Depose witnesses and prepare clients for depositions
  • Provide counsel and representation throughout trial
  • Supervise legal teams to ensure attorneys focus on high-level case strategy
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys to ensure efficient, high-quality case handling
  • Maintain exceptional client service and communication

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of personal injury experience (required)
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active New York Bar license
  • Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to evaluate claims effectively
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to professionalism and client advocacy
