Are you looking for a full-time opportunity where you can use your full stack Java development skills to develop and enhance our industry leading software application? Interested in AI and gaining experience developing AI capabilities into a software application? This is a full stack Java development role were you will be working with Java and JavaScript as well as front end tools like HTML and CSS and SQL on the backend.  For this role, you should have full stack Java application development experience developing enterprise applications ideally for external clients.   
 
This is a hybrid role so at times, you would be working from our Atlanta office located in the Perimeter/Sandy Springs location so YOU MUST CURRENTLY live within commutable distance of this area of Atlanta.
 
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Writing testable, maintainable code conforming to coding standards.
  • Complete peer code reviews for team members, identifying non-conforming code conventions, edge test cases, and security compliance vulnerabilities.
  • Perform meaningful code refactoring to existing platforms to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Developing AI capabilities into our software application products.
  • Maintain technical documentation for new and existing projects.
  • Continue to enhance your technical knowledge by participating in learning opportunities, exploring open-source software, and maintaining personal networks.
For this role, you MUST HAVE 3 or more years of work experience doing full stack Java software development including development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. You must have some backend database programming with SQL Server or Oracle or both.  And, you must have experience with enterprise grade application development and design patterns. 
 
We would prefer you also to have experience with:
Apache WebServer, Tomcat, and Windows Server
Eclipse, MS Visual Studio, C#, and C++ would be a plus.
Continuous integration and automated testing platform experience would also be a plus.
Experience developing SaaS applications including cloud platform experience like AWS.
