About the Role

Levine Lectronics and Lectric (L3) is a trusted electrical manufacturers’ representative firm, partnering with over 30 leading electrical and automation manufacturers. We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to develop and expand business in your assigned territory.

This field-based role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with strong technical aptitude. You’ll work directly with electrical distributors, contractors, OEMs, and engineers to promote our products, provide solutions, and build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Growth – Develop and execute a strategic territory plan; consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Solution Selling – Translate customer needs into tailored solutions spanning 30+ product lines.
  • Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly forecast updates, and submit call and project reports.
  • Product & Application Expertise – Complete structured training and stay up to date with daily “Product-of-the-Week” webinars and industry trends.
  • Market Expansion – Support the launch of new product lines, warehouses, and regional marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Relationships – Serve as a trusted advisor, providing product recommendations, technical support, and superior service.
  • Team Collaboration – Partner with inside sales, distributors, and manufacturers; participate in weekly virtual team meetings.
  • Culture Champion – Embody L3’s family-first, collaborative values when engaging with customers and peers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B field sales experience OR 3+ years in electrical/automation product sales (inside or outside).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas with a hunter mentality.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Low and medium voltage power distribution (switchgear, switchboards, transformers)
    • Critical power products (UPS, ATS, MTS, STS, paralleling switchgear)
    • Power quality products or related controls hardware
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn electrical products and applications.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Comfortable with a commission-heavy plan (uncapped earnings).
