Marketing Director                         Columbia, SC

Looking for a talented, creative, experience Marketing Director for our client in Columbia, SC. The qualified individual will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategy and campaigns.  This responsibility involves assessing and creating the company marketing plan and strategy, planning, coordinating, and directing marketing efforts. This person has one direct report and reports directly to the company president. Onsite, Full-time position.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

·        Develop strategies and tactics to promote and create recognition for our company and drive traffic to our development staff

·        Create successful marketing campaigns for social media platforms, placement of advertising, and overall promotion and brand awareness

·        Organize and manage the RFQ, RFP Processes, AIA Qualification forms

·        Design and create content for website, social media, print ads, and press releases

·        Develop Public Relations ideas

·        Manage tradeshows – including displays, promotional handouts, and staffing booth

·        Manage signage for job sites, company events, promotional events and other

·        Actively secure and update Client Owner reference letters on projects

·        Create content for bi-yearly company meeting

·        Consistently update and improve Presentation material

·        Maintain and expand client and potential client data base

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, especially WORD and Excel
  • Strong experience and utilization of social media including: Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others
  • Experience with the entire Adobe Suite – InDesign and Photoshop a must
  • Data Entry skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Team Player – you will be interacting with Senior Management, Preconstruction Team, the Office Manager, and other staff as well as vendors and collaborators for marketing.
  • Willing to take initiative and contribute where needed
  • Reliable with a history of being on time, task focused, and professional
  • Prefer candidates with a background in Construction, Engineering or related field
