Lead High-Impact Construction ProjectsAs a Superintendent, you’ll drive the success of heavy civil construction projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence. You’ll champion Webber’s safety culture, targeting Zero Recordable Safety Incidents by enforcing top-tier safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee project schedules, monitor milestones, address challenges, and communicate updates with management. - Plan and manage work, including equipment, personnel, road closures, and progress tracking. - Mitigate delays and implement strategies to meet project deadlines. - Monitor production and budget, proposing solutions to optimize costs and efficiency. - Collaborate with teams to share insights, address concerns, and achieve project goals. - Engage professionally with consultants, clients, and subcontractors. - Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and work ethics. - Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and task assignments for crew members. - Ensure compliance with contractual, local, state, and federal regulations. - Track equipment use, order materials, and provide input on resource allocation. - Coordinate and direct crew activities effectively.
Requirements
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in heavy civil construction (roads, bridges, tunnels, etc.). - Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction projects. - Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Proficient in construction management software and MS Office. - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent experience. - Detail-oriented, resourceful, and adept at problem-solving.
