A prominent Southeastern regional law firm with a national practice is seeking a motivated Business Litigation Associate to join their dynamic practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record; Moot Court or Law Review participation is a plus.
- 2 to 4 years of commercial and business litigation experience.
- Experience in state and federal courts representing clients in various business and commercial disputes, including but not limited to class actions, real estate litigation, white-collar cases, false claims act, qui tam actions, and whistleblower matters.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Capable of managing cases independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex business litigation cases, handling all aspects of case management.
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Engage in pre-trial and trial preparation, conducting depositions, and participating in court hearings.
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective case strategies.
- Stay informed about legal developments pertinent to commercial litigation.
