Our client, a full service Austin law firm, seeks a mid-level attorney with commercial and/or construction related litigation experience to join their team. The Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Attorney will handle a diverse caseload, with a particular focus on commercial and construction-related disputes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our firm's growth and client development efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and build lasting professional relationships.
Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Texas.
3+ years of experience in commercial and/or construction litigation.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, case law, and statutory requirements related to commercial and construction disputes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
