Our client is seeking a detail-driven Title Specialist to join their growing team at their Morgantown headquarters. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of land titles that drive exploration and production success across the Appalachian Basin.

\nConduct in-depth reviews of Certified Title Opinions and Abstracts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
\nAnalyze and interpret legal documents, contracts, and agreements, verifying data integrity across all title materials.
\nPartner with legal teams to identify and resolve title defects and discrepancies, taking curative actions such as obtaining missing documents or correcting records.
\nCollaborate closely with the Land team to maintain an accurate and current internal title database.
\nCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and clients, providing precise and actionable insights.
\nStay up to date with industry regulations and title laws, ensuring ongoing compliance and best practices in all title activities.
\n5+ years of experience running and/or reviewing certified title work.
\nStrong understanding of mineral tracts, leasehold, and surface ownership specific to the Appalachian Basin.
\nKnowledge of Working Interest (WI), Overriding Royalty Interest (ORRI), and Non-Participating Royalty Interest (NPRI) ownership.
\nProven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\nExceptional teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
\nA proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
\nAbility to perform light physical activity as part of daily responsibilities, including occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs) and standard office tasks.
