We’re hiring a BAS Controls Sales Engineer in Portland, OR to grow business with contractors, engineers, and facility teams across the region.
Impact
Win new projects and grow customer accounts
Build long-term relationships with GCs, MEPs, and end users
Drive revenue by promoting smart building solutions
Help clients solve real-world facility challenges
Responsibilities
Identify and close new business opportunities
Grow existing customer relationships and upsell services
Meet regularly with contractors, engineers, and facility managers
Develop bids, proposals, and sales presentations
Track pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly sales goals
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams
Stay active in the local construction and engineering community
Requirements
Must-Haves
3+ years selling BAS or mechanical/controls solutions
Strong network with GCs, mechanicals, or facility managers
Confident in business development and customer meetings
Based in the Portland area with stable job history
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Nice-to-Haves
Familiar with systems like Tridium, Distech, Siemens, ALC, Johnson Controls
Background in HVAC, controls, or technical sales
Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking
