Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of plant equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machine tools.

Inspection & Diagnosis:

• Conduct regular machine inspections, identify potential issues, and determine the scope of necessary repairs.

Repairs & Service:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, minimizing downtime.

Tool Use:

• Effectively utilize power and hand tools to perform maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency.

Workplace Cleanliness:

• Maintain clean and organized machinery and adjacent work areas, adhering to scheduled inspection and maintenance routines.

Coolant & Chip Management:

• Manage coolant replenishment and chip/turning disposal, ensuring proper segregation and placement in designated areas.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow and enforce safety regulations, maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets production needs.

Additional Duties:

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the maintenance department.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment maintenance, with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and dependability.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
