Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for the role of President of Sales and Marketing. This is a strategic executive position responsible for shaping and executing robust sales and marketing strategies to foster growth and elevate market presence for a thriving retail home construction entity. The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands of South Carolina, specifically around Columbia, and will report directly to the CEO as part of the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to maximize ROI on lot inventory. Analyze market trends to balance pricing with sales velocity for sustained profitability.
  • Marketing Oversight: Lead the marketing team, ensuring cohesive branding and marketing initiatives that support sales goals and community engagement.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation and management of sales contracts, ensuring compliance and effective resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with executive leadership to align sales strategies with broader company objectives and foster interdepartmental cooperation.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of real estate contracts and homebuyer financing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in residential home building or real estate.
  • Successful track record in managing teams and closing a high volume of sales.

Additional Information:

  • Compensation: Base salary of $200,000 - $225,000 with performance incentives up to 50% of the base salary.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, relocation assistance, and allowances for electronics and transportation.
  • Work Environment: Initially hybrid with a transition to full-time in-office presence required.
  • Travel: Primarily within South Carolina, occasional out-of-state travel as needed.
