- 4 or more years of of hands-on experience in ground-up programming and iRVision setup is a requirement
- Proficiency in RoboGuide simulation, electrical schematic interpretation, and seamless PLC integration is also necessary
- Pay is up to $120,000 based upon experience
- Work hours are exceptionally flexible-Choose your start time (6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM)
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
- No remote as this is an onsite only position

This full-time, permanent Senior Automation Engineer career opportunity is with a premier, custom robotic system integrator. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate include the following:
- Lead the from-scratch programming of FANUC robotics (70% of the role) for a variety of custom industrial applications
- Integrate and program FANUC iRVision systems and utilize RoboGuide for project simulation and optimization
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot robot and PLC I/O, ensuring seamless communication between systems
- Manage the installation and commissioning of systems (20% of the role), traveling domestically roughly one week every two months
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and VP of Operations on 5-8 high-priority, custom automation projects per year
- Support local service calls and participate in continuous improvement activities to advance the company’s technical capabilities
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in FANUC robotics programming (Handling Tool, iRVision, etc.)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to read complex schematics
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, or FANUC Picktool is a significant plus but not required
- Strong desire to work in a small-team, high-accountability environment where you can wear multiple hats
- Possess a solid work history where job changes typically occur no more frequently than every 3-5 years
- Ability to travel domestically 25-30% for installations and technical support
- Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
