• The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed bids and attending pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
  
• This candidate will be expected to interface with both our existing and prospective new clients.
  
• The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and should be able to discuss and adapt to a wide range of sectors, including industrial, commercial, healthcare and educational.
  
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in estimating projects ranging up to $5 million dollars of process piping, plumbing and hydronic heat.
  
• The candidate should have previous experience with competitive bid, negotiated, conceptual / design build schematic estimates and projects.
• Proficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysis
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Report writing and strategic planning skills
• Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects
• Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents

Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Working knowledge of mechanical piping and airside systems as well as other related trades
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office
  
• Must be energetic, pro-active, inquisitive and systems oriented. Must show competency, accuracy, organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  
• Strong communication skills both written and oral are needed
  
• Must be a self-starter and team player with a strong sense of urgency
  
• The ability and desire to provide solutions
