COMPENSATION RANGE: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 DOQ

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, preparing accurate cost estimates, and managing the bid process for commercial roofing, waterproofing and sheet metal projects. This role combines technical knowledge, customer interaction, and sales strategy to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Estimate Preparation:
o Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to develop accurate and competitive roofing estimates.
o Perform on-site inspections to assess project scope, materials, labor, and timeline requirements.
o Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
· Sales & Client Relations:
o Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, property managers, and building owners.
o Respond to RFQs/RFPs and follow up on leads to secure new business.
o Present estimates and proposals to clients.
o Negotiate contracts and close sales in collaboration with the project management team.
· Project Coordination:
o Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth project transitions from estimation to execution.
o Attend pre-bid and job meetings as required.
Qualifications:
· 5-10 years proven experience in commercial construction (roofing or architectural metal preferred) estimating and sales role.
· Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up, metal, etc.) and/or metal panel systems.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
· Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Must Have:
5-10 years proven experience in commercial construction (roofing or architectural metal preferred) estimating and sales role.
Must have experience bidding on large-scale commercial construction projects, including multi-million-dollar projects.
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up, metal, etc.) and/or metal panel systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
