Build the Hypersonic Systems Defending America, 5 Full Time Permanent Openings
Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Openings: Five
Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA area or Albuquerque, NM area
Salary: $160K to $200K + meaningful equity (share value up 150x in the last 3 years)
Who You Are
You have strong manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or other demanding, high-volume hardware environments. You move fast, you take ownership, and you want to be surrounded by people who hold the bar just as high as you do. Because this is a profitable, fast-growing company just five years in, the CEO strongly prefers candidates who bring some startup experience to the table people who know how to operate in a growth environment and can actively help every member of the team push the organization forward.
Ready to Build Something That Matters?
If you are an engineer who wants real ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to one of the most ambitious hardware production efforts in the country, we want to hear from you. Apply now and let's build the future together.
Ever wanted to build the systems that shaped national security? This is your shot.
We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to help take some of the most advanced hardware on the planet from prototype to full-scale production. We build long-range hypersonic strike systems, weapons capable of traveling faster than Mach 5, and we are one of the few players moving beyond concepts into real, deliverable production.
Why This Role Matters
We are scaling fast, and we need engineers who thrive in that kind of environment. You will own critical subsystems and drive the 0-to-1 buildout of production processes that will one day churn out thousands of units per year. This is not a maintenance job. This is a mission to design, refine, and scale the manufacturing backbone of a national defense capability.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes for complex hardware
- Take full ownership of critical subsystems, including solid rocket motors, control actuation systems, separation mechanisms, wire harnesses, composite structures, and precision machined components
- Bridge the gap between prototype development and high-volume, scalable production
- Solve hard problems fast, in a high-velocity, high-ownership culture
What Makes This Different
- Serious momentum. We are backed by over $470M in funding from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and General Catalyst.
- Real contracts, real deliverables. We already hold a $23M Navy order for 50 units, and we are scaling toward thousands of units per year.
- Real upside. Competitive salary of $160K to $200K plus meaningful equity, with share value up 150x in just three years.
- Elite team. You will work alongside engineers from SpaceX, defense tech startups, and high-velocity automotive manufacturing, people who have built hard things from scratch.
